ONE HOME · MANY FUTURES

ONE HOME. SHARED CARE.

Not one chosen child. Every child.

Donations go into a shared care budget. You cannot select or “adopt” a specific girl through this programme; support is allocated according to needs and the children’s best interests.

Your contribution supports a common budget. It does not create adoption, custody or exclusive access to any child.
How support works

A practical way to help

€100 a month can sustain everyday care.

The proposed monthly contribution is €100 - the home’s stated planning figure for supporting the care of one girl, pooled for all residents. It covers the shared needs of food, accommodation, school and healthcare. Confirm the current budget directly with MCH before giving.

GIVE YOUR TIME, RESPONSIBLY

Volunteer with purpose.

MCH is inviting women aged 18+ from around the world to inquire about placements. Accommodation and meals are provided. The programme contribution is €100 per month. Every placement must respect safeguarding, screening and local requirements.

How your support becomes everyday care

How your support becomes everyday care

Helping a child thrive involves more than a single payment or a photograph. Regular support helps a residential care organisation plan for meals, learning materials, safe accommodation, hygiene and access to medical care. Costs change with local prices and individual needs, so we treat €100 per month as the home’s stated planning figure, not as a promise of a fixed benefit for a named child. Every contribution is intended for shared care, rather than creating a relationship of ownership or exclusive sponsorship.

Education, protection and dignity go together

School attendance is only one part of education. Girls also need time to study, consistent adults they can trust, safe spaces to play and support when they are unwell. Protection requires staff to respect privacy, listen to children and handle safeguarding concerns properly. This is why our website does not invite visitors to pick a child to sponsor, and why photographs of residents are not published merely to generate donations. We encourage readers to learn about child protection in Nepal before deciding how to help.

Ways to support from Nepal and abroad

Supporters in Nepal can use local bank transfers; international supporters can ask their bank about SWIFT transfers to Nepal. Please confirm any fees, currency conversion and recipient details before sending money. Smaller one-off donations, recurring support and help with specific practical needs all start with a conversation about the home’s priorities. If you are considering a larger gift, ask the team what can be documented and how contributions will be acknowledged. The donation page sets out the currently supplied banking information.

Volunteering with clear boundaries

Volunteering around children requires more care than booking accommodation. Moonlight invites adult women to enquire about placements, subject to appropriate checks, local rules and the home’s safeguarding procedures. The stated programme contribution is €100 per month, with accommodation and meals offered; placements must be confirmed individually. Visitors should never assume that they may post identifiable children’s images, give unsupervised care or replace trained staff. Explore the safeguarding policy and contact the team before making travel arrangements.

FAQ

Important to know.

No child profiles for selection, no online payment form without verified banking details, and no promises that volunteering replaces professional care. We want supporters to ask good questions.

Get in touch
Can I sponsor a particular girl?+

No. Gifts support the whole home, with resources pooled and allocated by need. A contribution does not give personal access to any child.

Can I donate directly on this website?+

Not yet. For your security, confirmed payment information is provided directly by the organisation.

Who can apply to volunteer?+

The currently proposed programme is for women aged 18+ from any country, subject to safeguarding checks, local law and the organisation’s approval.

Is this a claim that residential care is best?+

No. Children should grow up in safe families wherever possible. Appropriate residential care is a last resort, and support should always protect family ties and individual rights.
